The Source is pleased to announce the update of international migration data for the United States to ourGlobal Data Center
http://www.migrationinformation.org/GlobalData/
Go the pull-down menu in the box with the heading
"Choose the country you are interested in" and select UNITED STATES.
Then click on Submit.The tables now include:
* Stock of foreign-born population by country of birth, 1995 to 2005
* Foreign born as a percentage of the total population, for 1990 and 1994 to 2005
* Estimates of the net number of migrants, by five year intervals, 1950 to 2000 (from the UN Population Division 2004 Revision Population Database)
* Inflow of foreign-born population by country of birth, 1986 to 2004
* Inflow of foreign-born population by age and sex, 1986 to 2004
* Top 10 sending countries, by country of birth, 1986 to 2004
* Annual number of asylum applications by nationality, 1980 to 2004
* Acquisition of citizenship by country of former nationality, 1987 to 2004
* Acquisition of citizenship (total), 1987 to 2004
